CYCLHAD, CAEN

Cyclotrons for hadrontherapy.

The European Center for Research and Development in Hadrontherapy, CYCLHAD, is a recent facility inaugurated in Caen in 2018. Already running proton-therapy for patients with cancer, the center will soon host a new superconducting cyclotron at 400MeV/u carbon beams for cancer treatments as well as clinical, radiobiological and physical research purposes using heavy ions.

CYCLHAD Facility Tour

From 18:00 to 19:00 and 18:45 to 19:45

The tour is limited up to 100 people, divided in two sessions. The registration for this tour will be available directly at the registration desk at your arrival.
Departure will be at the Event Center at 18:00 and then 18:45. After the visit, the bus will bring you back to the city center.
